The response to my earlier message about SKULL SLIME TENTACLE WITCH WAR pre-orders and t-shirts has been nothing short of delightful.
THANK YOU!
In case you missed it, the details are here.
TL;DR: A signed book pre-order is $19 + $5 shipping and a book and a t-shirt together (S-L available) are $40 including shipping (U.S. only), PayPal to rclaypo AT gmail DOT com, or email me for Venmo details.
I’ve still got a few books and t-shirts on hand so if you want in on this deal you should grab it while you can. (More books are on their way but I’m not so sure about the shirts.)
Among the writers I love who enjoyed the new novel: Joe Koch!!!
I don’t know if Joe remembers or not, but he kindly cheered me on during low points in the writing process, and for that I will forever be grateful. Well for that, and for the mind-bending weirdness of his fiction. His novella The Wingspan of Severed Hands is cathartically hallucinogenic, and his new collection, Invaginies (which is officially being released TODAY) is sure to be an outstandingly mind-bending series of nightmares (in the very best way).
Anyway, here’s what Joe says about my new book:
“Skull Slime Tentacle Witch War made me feel like a demented child listening to a disturbed uncle from outer space tell me bedtime stories intended to either keep me awake forever or convert me into an acolyte of his specific, absurd, and horrifically cartoonified madness. Heck of a book. I read it and survived.”
Also!!! I had the delightful experience of talking with fellow Anxiety Press author and all-around excellent human Tyler Dempsey on the latest episode of Another Fucking Writing Podcast. I’m a massive fan of the podcast even (especially!) when I’m not the guest so this was very special, apologies in advance if it’s painfully obvious how excited I am to be talking to Tyler. Give it a listen.
OH AND ONE MORE THING!
Stay tuned for details about the Skull Slime Tentacle Witch War launch party — “An Evening of Goopy Weirdness” with me and B.R. Yeager at the Lovecraft Arts & Sciences book shop at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 in Providence, R.I.
THANK YOU FOR READING THIS EMAIL YOU ARE FABULOUS, FAREWELL!
